Alliance Africa Ecommerce Delivery PolicyThis delivery policy is hereby incorporated into and forms part of our agreement with all Alliance Africa customers. It is only valid for merchandise purchased on the Alliance Africa website (www.allianceafrica.co.za) and outlines all important information related to the swift and secure delivery of your purchases.
Alliance Africa only delivers to supplied physical addresses within the Republic of South Africa, either door-to-door or door-to-counter, depending on where you’re located.
Items will be delivered to the physical address specified during the checkout process. Should no party be present at the specified address for collection at the time of delivery, drivers will retain the parcel(s), and then telephone to reschedule the delivery date or return later that day, if possible.
For same-day deliveries (Gauteng Province only), orders must be made on the Alliance Africa website by 12:00. All deliveries made thereafter will follow a 24-hour delivery timeframe.
Same-day deliveries with be delivered to their respective recipients by 17:00, unless otherwise stated.
Currently, same-day deliveries are only available for the Gauteng Province area. Deliveries for Durban and its surrounding areas will follow a 24-hour delivery timeframe from the date of order. Deliveries for Cape Town and its surrounding areas will follow a 48-hour delivery timeframe from the date of order.
In accordance with South African COVID-19 Lockdown Regulations, no after-hours will be made to any part of the country.
Where delays and out-of-stock situations occur, every reasonable effort will be made to inform you if there will be a substantial delay in your delivery.
Export restrictionThe offering on this website is available to South African clients only.
Return and Refunds policyThe provision of goods and services by Alliance Africa is subject to availability. In cases of unavailability, Alliance Africa will refund the client in full within 30 days. Cancellation of orders by the client will attract a 5% administration fee. Our Alliance aircon products cover a 5 year warranty provided that the unit is installed by an installation company authorised by Alliance Africa, the unit is serviced as per the warranty card guidelines; and the customer registers their product on www.allianceafrica.co.za. Customer Privacy policyAlliance Africa shall take all reasonable steps to protect the personal information of users. For the purpose of this clause, “personal information” shall be defined as detailed in the Promotion of Access to Information Act 2 of 2000 (PAIA). Payment options acceptedAll payments go through PayGate payment gateway and have various options such as credit card, debit card, EFT etc.
Card acquiring and securityCard transactions will be acquired for Alliance Africa via PayGate (Pty) Ltd who are the approved payment gateway for all South African Acquiring Banks. DPO PayGate uses the strictest form of encryption, namely Secure Socket Layer 3 (SSL3) and no Card details are stored on the website. Users may go to www.paygate.co.za to view their security certificate and security policy.
Customer details separate from card detailsCustomer details will be stored by Alliance Africa separately from card details which are entered by the client on DPO PayGate’s secure site. For more detail on DPO PayGate refer to www.paygate.co.za.
Merchant Outlet country and transaction currencyThe merchant outlet country at the time of presenting payment options to the cardholder is South Africa. Transaction currency is South African Rand (ZAR).
ResponsibilityAlliance Africa takes responsibility for all aspects relating to the transaction including sale of goods and services sold on this website, customer service and support, dispute resolution and delivery of goods.
Country of domicileThis website is governed by the laws of South Africa and Alliance Africa chooses as its domicilium citandi et executandi for all purposes under this agreement, whether in respect of court process, notice, or other documents or communication of whatsoever nature, Suite 74, Private Bag X7, North Riding, 2162.
VariationAlliance Africa may, in its sole discretion, change this agreement or any part thereof at any time without notice.

Please take note of the important information regarding the costs of the installation carefully and ensure you are aware of the costs not included. It is your responsibility to carefully read and understand these Terms and Conditions. Failure to do so does not absolve you of your obligations or limit our rights under this agreement:
The cost of the back-to-back aircon installation (i.e. indoor unit located on the other side of the wall opposite the outdoor unit) with available plug point for the 9000btu and 12000btu is R2500.00 (incl. VAT). The cost of the installation for the 18000btu and 24000btu is R2700.00 (incl. VAT)
The cost of this installation includes the following:
Up to 3metres of refrigerant piping, drain pipe and cable
Outdoor mounting bracket (if required)
Installation to a maximum height of 3metres above ground level
Drilling of one hole for piping
Holes will be filled but not painted
The installer will quote for all costs in addition to the 3metre back-to-back installation which will include but are not limited to the following:
Any required piping and cabling in addition to the piping and cabling referred to above, or electrical connection to the main switchboard
Travelling expenses in the event of the installation being out of a 30km radius from where the unit was bought
Any other extras, including but not limited to:
external isolators and additional electrical work required
any additional refrigerant piping, insulation, drain pipe and cable
trunking to cover piping
Please note costs of isolators are not included in the installation fee. Isolator switches are a regulation requirement and are not included in the cost of the installation. A qualified electrician must install an isolator at your own cost. He must install the isolator not more than 2metres from the condenser and within view of the condenser. The cost of this is in addition to the installation cost of the unit and must be paid directly to the electrician. Indoor and outdoor units must always be earthed. You can expect to pay anything between R1000-R1500 in addition to your basic installation fee for this. This regulation is governed by the South African National Standards (SANS) 10142-1.
Alliance Africa shall not be held liable for any consequences arising from your failure to read, understand, or comply with these Terms and Conditions.
